From the first start on 1 May 2022 to the biggest race in Innlandet – this is the story of the race in Grue.
2022
When Grue Half Marathon was held for the first time on 1 May 2022, it was the start of what is now the biggest race in Innlandet. Every year celebrities, athletes and everyday runners flock to Grue to feel the atmosphere on Norway's fastest half marathon course.
2025
In 2025 we took the concept a step further. Under the new Grueløpene umbrella, the half marathon was joined by two new events: Gruemila and Grue Backyard.
Behind the race
Grueløpene is run by Grue Idrettslag, in close cooperation with local enthusiasts, sponsors and volunteers. Together we put our hearts into it every single year to give you an unforgettable race experience.
2027
From 2027 everything comes together on one day. Grue Half Marathon, Gruemila and the kids' race all run on Saturday 1 May – under one name: Grue Halvmaraton.
